About Andres Betancur
I founded Deportivo Management after nearly two decades delivering international sporting events and cross-border operations for Major League Baseball and supporting global tournaments such as the FIFA Club World Cup.
From London and Tokyo to Havana and Sydney, I helped deliver some of the most complex sporting events in the world — including multiple MLB All-Star Games, World Series, and every edition of the World Baseball Classic. These experiences shaped a disciplined, detail-driven approach to high-stakes environments where precision, trust, and operational integrity are non-negotiable.
Today, I operate between New York City and Medellín, Colombia, working directly with clubs, leagues, conferences, and federations navigating cross-border competition and structured market engagement across the Americas.
